1. What we collect
Trainers: name, email, profile photo, and billing details (handled by Stripe — we never see card numbers). Learners: a display name and optional photo, plus classroom activity (answers, votes, submitted words and photos, points and energy check-ins). Learners can participate with anonymous accounts that require no email.
2. How we use it
To run the classroom experience: showing leaderboards to a class, delivering a host's activity to learner screens, grading workbooks, and awarding points. Usage analytics (which tools are launched, when) help hosts and us improve the product. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who can see what
Classroom content is scoped to the class: your class sees your display name, photo, and scores on its leaderboards. Parking Lot questions are shown without the author's name to everyone, including the host. Workbook answers are visible to the assigning trainer for grading. Public leaderboards show only display name, photo, and lifetime points.
4. Where it lives
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, and Storage) and payments are processed by Stripe, each under their own security and compliance programs. We use industry-standard security rules and server-side validation to restrict access.
5. Retention & deletion
Classroom content persists while the class exists so hosts can review it. Account deletion (via your administrator) removes the profile, subscription, class memberships, and authentication record. To request deletion of specific content or a full account, contact your administrator.
6. Children
The product is designed for instructor-led settings. Learner accounts can be anonymous and require no email address. If you are an institution subject to COPPA, FERPA, or similar regulation, you are responsible for obtaining any required consents before directing learners to the service.
7. Contact
Privacy questions or requests: contact the account administrator or the support channel listed on your plan. See also our Terms of Service.
